Thank you all for the lovely entry. Many congratulations to my BOB who went on to win RBIS.
Puppy (5)
1. Stuart and Anthony's Cordarragh Solitaire – Sound dog of 8 months. Possesses a lovely dark coat, good depth of chest, a gently sloping topline and very neat feet. Has a masculine head and moved very soundly for his age. BP.
2. Farndell and Anthony's Cordarragh Teagan.
Junior (5)
1. Sturrock's Arenzano Liberato de Forfarian – Liked this dog's overall type. He has a nice straight front, a rich coloured coat, correct sloping topline and tailset and was the best mover in the class. Possesses a masculine head and was very well handled. Felt he looked a little upright in shoulder on the day but am sure this will change as he matures. A very pretty bitch in third just lost out to the two dogs on maturity.
2. Richardson's Brabrook Flash Harry at Montgreenan.
3. Laidlaw and Ritchie's Glencarron Summer Lovin.
Yearling (3)
1. Hannah's Fetteresk Snow Patrol – Larger dog who is well made all through and won the class on his overall balance. Has a good sloping topline and good tailset, correct angulation front and rear, a good front and a masculine head and expression. Didn't always make it easy for his handler when standing but moved soundly.
2. Cordarragh Rhianna.
3. Arenzano Liberato de Forfarian.
Novice (2)
1. Stuart and Anthony's Cordarragh Rhianna – Came second in the previous class and is well made but lacking in coat and maturity at present. She has a nice, feminine head, a good gently sloping topline and is well angulated front and rear. Balanced on the move. Preferred her tailset over 2.
2. Richardson's Brabrook Flash Harry at Montgreenan.
Graduate (5)
1. Sturrock's Forfarian Caught You Lookin JW – Lovely bitch of real quality. Has a lovely dark coat and is beautifully presented. She is well made all through with good forechest, good depth of rib, a straight front, correct angulation, a lovely topline and a good tailset. Moves with drive and coordination on tight, cat-like feet. I understand her handler on the day does not usually show her but she did a great job! Beat a very nice dog in second place who was slightly longer in loin. RBOB.
2. Rance's Mayfred Mr Magnifico.
3. Cameron's Balngown Ruby Tuesday.
Post Graduate (3)
1. Gebbie's Forfarian Hope – Another very nice bitch from this kennel. Looks very balanced standing although felt she was carrying a bit too much weight on the day. Has a lovely feminine head, good depth of chest, correct angulation front and rear and a gently sloping topline. Moved with coordination. Preferred her overall type to another nice bitch in 2.
2. Beaton's Kettlehills Star Performer.
3. Rowan's Lotushill Masterclass.
Limit (4)
1. Laidlaw and Green's Glencarron Olympic Gold – Imposing dog who owned the ring as soon as he stepped into it. Looked a picture both standing and moving and is well constructed throughout. Has a lovely, masculine head with correctly domed skull and lovely expression. His arched neck flows cleanly into well-set shoulders and on to his gently sloping topline. Possesses correct angulation front and rear, a good straight front and excellent depth of chest. Was beautifully presented and handled to win BOB and RBIS. Well done.
2. Findlay's Drumwhaur Little Flame.
Open (5)
1. Cameron's Balngown Ballroom Blitz JW – Two golden oldies in this class whose greying faces were the only things disclosing their ages. First was a lovely bitch whose beautiful head and expression made me melt. She is very well made all through and has good forechest, correct angulation and a gently sloping topline. Her driving movement belied her age and won the class over a handsome dog in 2.
2. Richardson's Cataluna Smart Alec At Montgreenan.
