Critique - Judge: Julie Greenan (Juleset)
Irish Setters
Puppy – 4 (2a)
1. Gisby’s – Suteresett Mr Cool
7 month old puppy, lovely head with the desired expression with lovely raised brow. Good length to neck leading in to good layback of shoulder, good front angulations and return of upper arm, straight front, good depth to the chest but would prefer more rib but this may come in time as this boy has done all his upward growing first and now needs to start maturing outwards. Moved steady and true once settled - BP
2. Griffin’s – Kerryfair Silent Oasis
Junior – 2
1. Davies’s – Gwendariff Viva La Diva
Bitch presented in excellent coat and condition and just the right amount of muscle tone. Nice head and expression, good length of neck leading in to good layback of shoulder, good depth to chest and spring of rib, strong over the loin and moved true and steady off short rear pasterns.

1. Hopewell’s – Davset It’s Now Or Never
Have always liked this bitch and was pleased to have the opportunity to go over her. Exquisite head with lovely finish to foreface and lovely raised brow giving a soft expression, good length to neck leading into good front angulations, nice straight front, good depth to the chest and well ribbed, strong over the loin and good width to the second thigh. She was a pleasure to watch on the move producing excellent forward reach and drive from behind, pleased to award her BOB.

I loved the head on this bitch, so pretty, straight front, moderate length of neck, would prefer more layback of shoulder, good rib and depth to chest, good over the loin and croup, good rear angulations, moved steady.
