Critique - Judge - Dee Rance
I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entry..I was drafted in at
the last moment to judge at this show. I would also like to thank the comittee
for their well run friendly show..
Junior...(3-2)
1st..D&L Christie's..DRUMHAUR IRISH GOLD..(d) only a young boy, but
everything is in the rite place..all he needs is time..maturaty will help him
fill out. He has good angulation , reach of neck, topline and he moved OK.
Graduate..(10-4)
1st..Mrs. Mary Ross's..KETTLEHILS STAR TROUPER..(d) BOB, G3. He is
aptly named, he was deffinately a star, he has everything going for him,
filling the eye. Well balanced, good topline, (both on the move and standing),
lovely angulation for and aft..good straight front, and short hocks, depth of
chest, and a good forchest, croup, tail set, and standing on great feet..
(first and second were close, his overall balance just won the day, both had
great musckles, (first and second thigh), they both moved really well and
soundly, she has a lovely expression and eye, he was masculine without being
cause)
2nd..Mrs. Marie Wilson's..DANAWAY TONYA..(b)
3rd..Mr. & Mrs. Gardener's..GLENCARRON GOLDEN MOMENTS AT MARSTEAD
Open..(5-1)
1st..Mr.& Mrs. Deighton's..BALINTYNE ONE IN A WHILE..(d) This boy
pussed hard for top honers today. It was hair splitting choosing between them,
they are two differnt types..but they could change places at any time..I love
the head on this boy, soft Irish expression great eye and ear set..He has a
great topline and croup..good bone and angulation good depth of chest and
lenght in rib..all in all a lovely dog. Another one that was unlucky to meet
BOB today..(2nd in this class was a new one to me..it seems it was his first
time in the ring..and he conducted himself really well, nice dog..he will do
well for his owner..)
