A really lovely entry. Nice large outside ring where the dogs had plenty of space to move. A pity it started raining as soon as judging started!
P (5,1a)
A nice class of puppies, all enjoying their day.
1 Pollard’s Grayrigge Rosalind, well constructed quality puppy, nice movement to coat. Lovely head and eye, low set ears. Deep through the chest, strong limbs, good second thigh, good tailset. Moved well B.P;
2 Wall’s Hazelbeck Phantom Gold
3 Gardner’s Mayfred Mr Moondance
J(10)
This class was a real headache to judge! Such a strong class of really quality exhibits of such differing types. In the end I was really splitting hairs as the construction and movement in all my prize winners was true and sound. It was good to see that bit of naughtiness and ‘ Irish character’ coming out which is sadly lacking in some exhibits these days!
1 Box’ Fernstart Lovesong, lovely bitch of super quality. Not in her best coat but couldn’t be denied her win as she moved around the ring with such drive and forward reach. Lean pretty head, dark expressive eye, low earset. Good forechest, strong hindquarters and strong topline. Res BOB
2 Weller’s Sutersett Wispa At Juldeane
3 Greenan’s Anlory The Living Daylights Over Juleset

G(5)
1 Weller’s Sutersett Wispa At Juldeane, it really was just a ‘wispa’ between 1st and 2nd in the previous classes! Such a quality, feminine bitch with a lovely dark coat, in super condition. So well angulated both front and rear, moved with drive as her construction would allow. Lovely head and dark eye. I know it is an old cliché, but they will change places I’m sure many times!
2 Clemence’s Anlory Corvina
3 Harvey’s Jubliana Murphy Midnight Star
PG(6)
1 Murphy’s Davset Anatar, such a good honest dog, nothing overdone. Kind, gentle expression. Nicely balanced head. Good depth to chest, pleasing outline. In good coat, moved freely and well
2 Box’ Fearnley Funtime At Fernstart
3 Griffin’s Corriebran Pure Gem
O(5,3a,1w/d)
1 Wall & Jones’ Cilcain Anything Goes To Hazelbeck, this dog looked stunning! In absolutely super coat and condition. At four years old he is coming to his prime and everything fits perfectly! Lovely head and expression, eyes have that naughty ‘glint’! Great depth to chest, strong hindquarters, good tailset. Moved very well, using tail well on the move. A super picture. BOB and Group 2
