P (1,1a)
1 Bettis’ Ornella Lexington, BP, 8 month dog, slightly unsure of himself at first but moved steadily when settled. Nicely put together and well balanced for age.
J (3,1a)
1 Douthwaite & Wharfe’s Gracewood Shannon JW, very promising young bitch with lovely flowing movement. Good front and rear construction with lean, elegant neck and pretty, refined head.
2 Morgan’s Gwendariff Watan Ambasador , moved well with drive from rear.
3 O Lexington.
G (5, 2a)
1 Glithero & Philo’s Coppershell Cazanovah JW ShCM, BOB and BIS, well done! Young dog, still to mature at just over 2 years but so much to like and caught my eye straightaway. Stacked, he has a beautiful outline, lean and elegant but well bodied, with refined head and skull, good length of neck, gently sloping topline, deep front and strong hindquarters, in hard condition. Raring to go, he moved with racy style and drive, lovely head carriage and level, lashing tail. Well presented.
2 Bettis’ Reddins Lester at Ornella, moved soundly, lovely dark, glossy coat.
3 Glithero & Arkell’s Coppershell Vincent.
L (1)
1 Childs’ Lyrasett Discovery, alone but worthy winner, 3 year-old dog, strong all through, with plenty of rich, gleaming coat. Rather half-hearted on the move but overall, an impressive dog. OD (3) 1 Lewis’ Tarandell Pascali, RBOB, happy boy and moved soundly, well balanced and compact with good spring of rib and strong hindquarters.
2 Butler’s Covarney Wait N See Rubymoon, good dog just preferred overall shape of winner.
3 Childs’ Benrue Outlander.
OB (2)
1 Douthwaite & Wharfe’s Gracewood True Magic, mature bitch, mother of junior winner, sound, pleasing shape, good strong topline, kind, gentle expression.
2 Harris’ Goldings Helleana of Trapwell, happy girl but preferred type of winner.
