Critique - Judge Joan Kniveton
Thank you to the exhibitors for a lovely entry, and thanks also to my two stewards.
In agreement with my co-judge the dog Kerryfair Snofox JW was Best in Show. Braidmount Midnight Lady was Reserve Best in Show & Best Opposite sex, Best Puppy in Show was Grayrigge Benedict , Best Veteran Lynwood Strands of Silk at Sandstream
Minor Puppy 9 (2)
1st Danks-Kemish Alolfran Inspired with Time. promising dark coated puppy, super bone and neat feet, good lay of shoulder, well sprung rib, just needs to develop a little more in quarters but that will come with time, well set on tail, pleasing head and expression, moved with confidence and style.
2nd Nicholls Delsanto Snow Storm. Nice type of puppy, well off for bone, lovely head and expression, low set ears, good body properties, shown in lovely coat and condition, moved soundly but without the confidence and style of 1.

1st Pollard & Cooks Grayrigge Benedict What a super confident puppy who showed and moved so very well. Beautiful head and expression, correct length of neck and lay of shoulder, has plenty of bone and neat well padded feet, super spring of rib and good quarters, could have taken him home BP in Show

1st Smiths Reddins Keifer won this class on his overall balance and shape, well constructed throughout, pleasing balanced head with desired expression, strong topline which he held as he moved soundly around the ring.
2nd Cardwells Kirkavagh the Wizard, a more mature looking youngster than 1 shown in excellent coat and condition, balanced outline, good front and rear assembly with strong well developed quarters which he used well on the move, just preferred head and expression of 1.

2nd Pallisters Penwyn American Boy well grown young dog, good shaped head and eye, ample rib, well muscled quarters, shown in lovely coat and condition, not quite so steady on the move as 1

This was a small quality class of lovely boys, the 1st two were difficult to separate.
1st Pullen & Atkin Harvencourt Harlem at Jacingail Super type, in excellent coat and condition, handsome head with low set ears, strong bone and neat feet, flowed from head to tail, correct sloping topline, stylish and sound movement won him this class.
2nd Grattons Bardonhill Floating Moon into Glenlaine a balanced and attractive looking young man, appealed in head and expression, strong arched neck, good lay of shoulder strong powerful quarters which he used well on the move, was shown in great coat and condition, just didn’t hold his topline on the move as well as 1. Sure these two lovely boys will change places many times
3rd Lewis Deconara Danse Bleau avec Dotcomsetter

1st Osmans Coppers Magiska Under, this medium sized boy impressed me for his overall shape and balance, owns the most lovely shaped head with desired work in it and correct eye colour, giving beautiful expression, well constructed throughout whish showed in his sound steady movement, in good coat and condition
2nd Vallances Braidmount Midnight Roue at Corcencone a boy who has to be gone over to appreciate his good breed qualities. Pleasing in head, strong arched neck set into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs and deep chest, sound strong quarters well set on tail, in good muscular condition which showed in his sound and accurate movement .
3rd Buchans Loskeran Dream Maker

1st Gisby & Pikes Suttersett Milky Way with Scarletti JW a lovely dark coated boy shown in great condition, looks good in outline, with strong muscular neck, good forehand and rear quarters, neat well padded feet, attractive head with soft expression, moved soundly and with style.
2nd Barker-Bells handsome head with raised brow and good eye colour, good reach of neck sits into well laid shoulders, deep chest, plenty of bone sound strong quarters good turn of stifle, moved soundly
3rd Tappers Kedalita the Merry Tyler

1st Milligan-Bott & Botts Thendara Kramer well proportioned throughout, appealing head and expression, good body properties, plenty of fore chest, ribs and depth, good turn of stifle, strong bone, shown in superb coat and condition.
2nd Croswells Gwendariff Mr. Noticeme liked this boy, good overall conformation, straight front, strong bone, neat well padded feet, gently sloping topline which he held on the move, well muscled quarters, shown in good coat, pleasing head , but just prefered expression of 1

A really good class of quality dogs
1st Chorley-Newton & Chorleys Kerryfair Snofox JW this boy has certainly come on in the last few months, he is a quality irish who is so very well balanced, he has the most beautiful head, with gorgeous expression, reacy neck and well laid shoulders, deep chest and well ribbed, right amount of bone and thickly padded cat like feet, strong rear quarters and good turn of stifle, he was shown in the most beautiful coat and condition, and as expected from his sound conformation he moved soundly and with purpose, loved him, CC and in complete agreement with my co-judge he was BIS, well done
2nd McNeil & Boyd-McNeils Glencarron Shakatak do like this boy and have still not changed my opinion of him, he has a lovely balanced head , excellent neck and shoulders, plenty of depth to chest, great spring of rib, sound well muscled quarters, and was shown in super coat, good ground covering movement.

Scotselaw Detroit Spinner by Thendara JW attractive stylish boy, who I have done well in the past, handsome refined head, well proportioned throughout, correct length of neck, excellent ribs and depth, good turn of stifle, well muscled quarters, shown as always from this exhibitor in the most super coat and condition moved well was pleased to award him the RCC
2nd Hunter & Browns Shenanagin Scholar with Braidmount JW lovely type of Irish , mature and looking well, good overall conformation, strong arched neck and well constructed fore and rear quarters, balanced head with pleasing expression, was in great muscular condition and excellent coat , moved steadily.
3rd Rose-Hay,Quinns, & McNamaras Cataluna Regency Rake

1st Cox Jsy.Ch. Tiroen Taylormade PDH, SH.CM 7 year old certainly enjoying his day out and acting like a youngster, lovely shaped head with pleasing expression, good front assembly, straight bone and nest feet, ample rib and depth of chest, well muscled rear quarters, in lovely condition, moved soundly and with enthuasim.
2nd Condrn & Mortimers Coverney Masterclass another 7 year old, looking well, good overall shape, well proportioned body, gently sloping top-line, strong quarters, good turn of stifle, attractive head, in good coat, not quite as steady in movement.
