I would like to thank the Committee for inviting me to judge and commend them on a very well run show. I would also like to thank my very efficient Stewards for their assistance.

MPD (7)

1. Smith’s Reddins Tobermoray, good quality puppy with good front angulation and great rear quarters for one so young, attractive head with lovely dark eye, low set ears, good coat with movement, moved well when settled but gave his handler a hard time and when it came to the challenge for BPD he had had enough.

2. Hyslops’ Gwendariff The Specialist, another quality up with lovely balanced head, good deep chest, nice front, neat feet, again another with good quarters, nicely coated youngster and again moved well when settled.

3. Lucas’ Kerryfair Gets Lucky over Amberlight.

PD (8, 3a)

1. Stocker’s Kirkavagh Xakala, smaller compact puppy but balanced all through, quite a profuse coat for one so young but changing at the moment which made him look like he had a break in his topline, pleasant head with lovely shaped dark eye, good front and strong quarters enabling him to move well. BPD, BPIB

2. Jones & Vatcher’s Gwendariff Viva Las Vegas, taller rangier dog puppy than 1 but very well balanced, good front, good bone, again another with strong quarters, lovely masculine head with dark expressive eye, in beautiful dark coat, handled sympathetically, moved well.

3. Coggles Kirkavagh Xolani of Katach.

Many nice dogs went cardless in this strong class.

1. Cardwell’s Kirkavagh The Wizard, stylish young man with well angulated quarters which will strengthen with maturity, head breaking at the moment, nice shaped dark eye, lovely low set ears, deep chest, good bone & substance, in lovely coat & condition, moved o.k.

2. Armstrong-Rodgers & Cooper’s Wickenberry Sirius, another young dog with well angulated quarters who used well, gentle sloping topline, good front, nice masculine head, I’m sure first 3 in this class will change places many times.

3. Torpy’s Meadow Pipit.

YD (10)

1. Barker-Bell’s Balintyne The Continental, a really mixed class of dogs but this young man looked very well, good angulations fore & aft, handler needs to be careful not to overstretch hind quarters, well off for bone and substance, lovely outline, nice balanced masculine head, moved steadily.

2. Cardwell’s Kirkavagh The Wizard.

3. Torpy’s Follidown Meadow Pipit.

ND (9, 4a)

1. Torpy’s Follidown Meadow Pipit, liked this young man very much for type, just not as forward as others in the previous classes, in beautiful rich coat, nicely balanced and well off for bone, extremely well put together, good angles lovely balanced head with soft expression, neat feet, moved well.

2. McDonagh’s Ronzaldo Figaro, was unplaced in a very strong junior class and gives his handler a very difficult time, well off for bone and substance, pleasant head, a bit unsettled on the move.

3. Randle’s Rionore Fire n Ice.

This was a nice class of young dogs but unfortunately quite a few of them flagged their tails on the move, hopefully just an age thing!!

1. Pullen & Atkin’s Harvencourt Harlem @ Jacingail, lovely balanced young dog full of quality with refined masculine head, lovely strong neck into shoulders, excelled in outline, good front, strong quarters enabling him to move well, in lovely coat and condition, should have a bright future.

2. Vincent’s Lynwood Kiss Chase @ Caervista, another lovely balanced young man, slightly stronger in head but with lovely soft expression, good, depth, strong outline, nice angulation front & rear, moved well on neat feet, in great coat.

3. Gratton’s Bardonhill Floating Moon into Glenlaine, unlucky to meet1 & 2 today.

PG (11, 1a)

1. Buchan’s Loskeran Dream Maker SH CM, excellent moving young dog from strong quarters, good strong neck into well angulated shoulders, nice front, pleasant outline, good deep chest, in full coat and in lovely condition.

2. Withey’s Bridgella’s Northern Lights, judged this boy previously and was such a fidget then, still gives his handler a difficult time but again another young boy who moves well from strong quarters, well balanced, nice head and lovely dark expressive eye, in lovely coat & condition.

3. Needs’ Covarney Mocha meets Stourford, again another boy unlucky to meet 1 & 2 today.

An excellent class and unfortunately some lovely boys had to go cardless.

1. Gardner’s Riqitta Authentic, extremely well made dog that I have done well in the past and have not changed my mind about him, like him for size and type, strong topline but handler just has to be careful not to overstretch him, handsome headed boy, was delighted to see him move well and with animation today. I was very pleased to award him his 2nd CC and I’m sure his 3rd will not be too far away. Well done.

2. Mugford’s Coppers Undercover @ Lynwood JW (Imp), slightly lighter made boy than 1 and not quite as forward in maturity but nevertheless very well made, super outline, lovely balanced head with low earset, very eycatching driving movement, well presented in good coat & condition. RCC

3. Eddan & Crocker’s Meadway Morrisay, young dog I like but felt he was overweight on the day.

OD (9 2a)

1. Chorley-Newton & Chorley’s Kerryfair Snowfox JW, a very well balanced young man but smaller all through, excels in outline and head is beautiful with lovely expression, good front but still feel more development to come in his quarters, in lovely coat & condition, moved well.

2. Kennedy’s Ir Sh Ch Glennara Coer de Lion JW, rangier dog to 1 and again feel more to come in his quarters, lovely topline, good straight front, strong short hocks, nicely headed with lovely dark eye, in good coat & condition, moved well.

3. Holley’s Sh Ch Gwendariff Pop The Question JW.
