Critique - Judge - Bitches: Mrs Joan Kniveton (Orstone)
I thoroughly enjoyed my days judging and my thanks to the exhibitors for a lovely entry, also to my two very efficient and helpful stewards.
Minor Puppy 16 (3)
1st Muirs Romarne Savannah a pleasing baby with super outline who moved with a lashing tail, she stands on good bone and neat feet, lovely neck and shoulders , excellent spring of rib, in the coat and condition.
2nd Humphreys Henaleas Carry on Flirting so much to like abut this youngster, she was nicely presented and beautifully bodied for one so young, super head and appealing expression good front and rear assembly, not quite as collected on the move as 1 which cost her first place
3rd McNeils Gwendariff in with a Bang

1st Muirs Romarne Savannah
2nd Munros Fetteresk Snow Business longer cast bitch who was well constructed, good front assembly and strong quarters with well turned stifle, lovely shaped head, moving steadily.
Junior 21 (3)
1st Catlings Shandwick Star Shine at Teleri this young lady really appealed to me she owns a beautiful rich coloured coat and was shown in super condition, her head is of the correct shape with dark eyes which gives her the most beautiful expression, good body properties, standing on good bone and neat feet, moved well, should have a bright future.
2nd Pollards Grayrigge Rosalind another extremely well constructed youngster who lost out to the above only on maturity. She has a delightful head with quizzical expression, lovely reachy neck and laid shoulders, ample ribs and depth, neat feet and well set tail, moved well, sure these two quality youngsters will change places many times.
3rd Wellers Suteresett Wispa at Juledene

1st Douthwaites and Wharfes Gracewood Shannon JW a lovely type who covered the ground well with her free flowing movement , sweetest of heads and eye, with low set ears nicely bodied and ribbed, well set on tail, moved soundly and happily from strong quarters.
2nd Limpus Shenanagin Shes the One for Karidell JW a more substantial girl but still retaining her femininity, good length of neck into well placed shoulders, excellent ribs and depth, sound rear quarters moving well
3rd Hyslops Gwendariff What a Showgirl
Special Beginners 7 (2)
1st ClaytonLee and Lee Rubratinneh Pocahontas a mature girl who was in lovely bloom and condition, good shaped head, firm top line, well ribbed plenty of bone moved okay.
2nd Middletons Trebeurden Temptress lovely headed girl who is at the moment lacking in maturity, correct length of neck set into well laid shoulders, good ribs, not as steady on the move as above and had left her coat at home.
3rd Phillips Derrydore Woodlark
Maiden 7 (2)
1st Barker-Bell Balintyne Foreign Affair well constructed bitch showing good overall shape, nicely angulated front and rear, ample ribs and depth, attractive head, moved steadier in this class.
2nd Gisbys Sutteresett Black Magic dark coated with a most attractive head, dark eyes and desired chiselling, good spring of rib and depth, correct amount of bone and neat feet, didn’t seem very settled which affected her movement

A lovely class of promising bitches
1st Hendersons Sametsuz Call Girl JW won this class on her overall conformation, she is a sound free moving bitch, attractive head, super neck set well into fine shoulders, ample rib and depth, good bone, well set tail, in lovely bloom.
2nd Watertons Lynwood Kissed by an Angel at Sandstream JW
A lovely type, with the best of heads and expressions. Neck fitting smoothly into well laid shoulders, super body properties, ample rib and well set on tail, in lovely coat and condition, moved well but not with he verve of the one above.
3rd Milligan-Bott and Botts Thendara Vanilla Ice

1st Botts Bardonhill Days are Diamond JW good conformation throughout, sweet head and expression, she is balanced and well made, firm top line, deep chest and strong quarters, well presented, moved soundly both ways.
2nd Routs Shaytell Jolene built on smaller lines but is quality all through, prettiest of heads and with quizzical expression, correct length of neck set into fine well laid shoulders, great spring of rib and depth, strong quarters with well turned stifle which enabled her to move soundly and with enthusiasm tail lashing from side to side.
3rd Proctors Serrula Cherry Vanilla

1st Mugfords Lynwood Started with a Kiss JW excellent presentation and shown to advantage, showing a gently sloping top line and good overall balance. Pleasing in head with kind eye, correct length of neck fitting well into shoulder, ample rib and depth, strong quarters, well set on tail short hocks, moved positively and soundly.
2nd Wellers Bambarella Love Story well put together, no exaggeration anywhere, good fore chest, neck and shoulders, attractive head of correct shape with expressive eyes and low set ears, good body properties, in lovely bloom, well muscled quarters, moved soundly.
3rd Hillocks Jonola Love and Liberty

1st Naylor and Morrisons Anlory Carmenere JW this young lady has to be gone over to appreciate her qualities, she is built on flowing lines and is feminine in all departments, has a very pretty head and desired expression, straight front and sound well muscled rear quarters, plenty of rib and depth to brisket, stands on super bone and the neatest of feet, moves soundly and with purpose.
2nd Hogsflesh Lyngor Living Water JW a slightly larger framed girl but still retains her femininity, head of correct shape with kindly expression, arched neck fitting smoothly into well laid shoulders, the best of ribs and depth, with strong powerful hindquarters, and good muscle tone, which enabled her to move soundly around the ring.
3rd Powis Amberwave Freckles JW

1st Routs Shaytell My Happiness my notes say good old fashioned type, no exaggeration anywhere, the sweetest of heads with raised brows and kindly expression, so well put together in all departments, terrific rib and depth, correct front assembly and strong wide powerful hind quarters which she used to advantage on the move, using her tail well, coat in lovely bloom.
2nd Halls Glennara Lehana JW ShCm a taller longer cast girl, who is balanced throughout, head of correct shape with soft expression, reachy neck, set into well laid shoulders, deep chest correct angulation and strength to hindquarters, neat feet, in good coat and condition, moved soundly both ways.
3rd Kerrison Serrula Sweet Song at Roguechien

A super class of quality girls, a privilege to judge, right down to the one who had to be left out.
1st Hendersons Sh Ch Sametsuz at Taste of Honey a lovely bitch combining elegance with her obvious qualities, excellent conformation and in sparkling form, shown in the most fabulous coat and condition. Head of correct shape with desired expression, low set ears, reachy neck set into fine well laid shoulders, deep brisket and well sprung ribs, straight front, good bone and feet, wide strong hindquarters, moving soundly and with purpose to take the CC., sure she will take many more.
2nd Watts Sh Ch. Shenanagin Shooting Star one who impressed me, unlucky to meet 1 on such sparkling form. This lady has substance combined with everything you would want in a Champion. She is delightful, a lovely size with a flowing outline, pretty head ,and super overall conformation, moved well both ways, in lovely coat and condition. RCC Sure these two girls will tussle it out on many future occasions.

I always enjoy judging this class, the oldies love their days out.
1st Barker-Bells Balintyne Homeward Bound what a sweetie, a well made girl and very typy, her head is delightful with grey flecking enhancing her expression. She is in proportion from head to tail, shown in good coat, moving soundly and happily.
2nd Coxs Tiroen Tourbillion a larger girl than 1,but still feminine, lovely head and expression, correct front and rear quarters, moved positively around the ring, in good muscle tone, but had left her coat at home.
3rd Watertons Lynwood Strands of Silk JW Sh Cm

Both these lovely dogs were out of their comfort zone here, and I am sure would have loved to have been outside on the moors, but it is lovely to have the opportunity to see them, and thank you for bringing them. The girl was more confident than the boy and this showed in her movement which gave her the class.

1st Coxs A well matched pair, who were obviously litter mates, stood well together and kept in unison on the move.
2nd Foxs another pair who were well matched and in good coat, stood and moved out well together.

1st Lucas Caskeys Persuader from Amberlight a dog who has certainly produced some good offspring. You could see his type and lovely heads coming through on all dogs present. His owner and breeder must be proud of him.
Special Field Trail 1
1st Mugfords Sh Ch Lynwood Follow Your Dreams JW this lovely girl was 3rd in a super open bitch class. She has the sweetest of heads, with lovely expression, she is so well put together, good length of neck set into well placed fine shoulders ample ribs and depth with correct angulations, front and rear, good bone and neat feet, shown in hard muscular condition. Lovely to see her in this class and it shows that with time and training our dogs can be other than show dogs and be fit for function. Well done to her owner/breeders.
