Judge: Bruno D.J FauvrelleWeimaraner, English Setter, Irish Red & White Setter and Irish SettersWeimaranerPost Graduate (6,2abs) 1) Parker's Rivertone Jazz, a young dog 14 months old, excellent outline when standing and moving. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders, nicely balanced. Head and body are well in proportion to size, moved soundly and carried his topline well. 2) Days' Magical Silvery moon, another nice young dog with good movement and temperament - a little smaller than 1. Open (4,1abs) 1. Carpenter's Aschfahl Hegenmeister, This dog caught my eye as he came into the ring. Beautiful coat colour, nicely balanced with a pleasing head and expression. Lovely well set ear, good reach of neck and good shoulder placement. Well muscled and in very good condition. Moved round the ring so effortlessly and holding his topline very well. A joy to watch.BOB 2) Mutlow's Morspirit Apollo, a nice dog, balanced throughout, just preferred the head and coat colour of 1. English SetterOpen (4.2abs) 1) Osman's Bournehouse Dream Maker, a very well constructed young dog. Good head with a nice soft expression. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders and a lovely deep chest. Good width of second thigh, in full coat, well handled and presented. Very positive and happy on the move.BOB,G2. 2).Stirk's Ravensett Diamond Romance with Grakar, a pretty 11 months old bitch. Very mature for her age, difficult to fault, lovely eyes and expression, good in all departments: head, neck, shoulders, body, movement and very well handled & presented. Very close decision, 1 edged it on maturity. RBOB,BP,PG3. Irish Red & White Setter0pen (4,2abs) 1) Pettifer's Vanders Vital Flame, an upstanding dog with good colour markings, clear white and defined chestnut patches. Nice head, good front and deep chest. Good rear assembly and strong hindquarters. Free flowing movement with good tail set and carriage.BOB 2) Lipscombe's Kellizlot River Legend, same comments apply, lost out to 1 on movement. Irish SetterPuppy (5) 1) Roberts'Polmennor Willow Pattern, Nice 11 months bitch with a beautiful feminine head, soft expression with kind melting eyes. Very promising in all departments, straight front, good shoulders, nicely bodied and with a good reach of neck. She moved effortlessly around the ring, carrying her topline and tail well. BP,PG2. 2) Mugford's Copper's Undercover At Lynwood, another quality puppy, well constructed in all departments. Not much to choose between these two puppies, the bitch just had the edge on head and movement. Special Yearling (7,2abs) 1) Randle's Rionore Bewitching Thyme. What a bewitching young girl she is, very elegant and in good condition. Nicely balanced, she excelled in all departments, very feminine with pretty head and expression. Well arched neck with a firm top line, nice front and good rear angulation. Very good mover with reach and drive.RBOB 2) Roberts'Polmennor Willow Pattern. Post Graduate (2) 1) Hall's Glennara Lehana JW, the prettiest head and eye expression. I have judged her before as a puppy, delighted to see she is maturing well. Although her coat was not in the best condition, she's very well put together, good width of chest, well sprung rib cage. Good front and nice rear angulation, which she uses well moving around the ring. 2) Child's Lyrasett Discovery, a young dog of real substance, very masculine, just requires that bit more effort to get the best out of him. Limit (4,1abs) 1) Partridge's Kerrydown Look At Me. Well constructed dog with no exaggerations, Lovely chiselled head and eye expression.Very impressive, good body proportions and angulation throughout, nice neck and good shoulder placement. Good width of chest and a well sprung rib cage. Moved very well with drive and purpose, pleasure to award him BOB 2) Budgell's Choakfords Megan With Robbbielene, very feminine bitch with lots to admire Open (4) 1) Budgell's Robbielene Keely SHCM, an 8 years old bitch looking well for her age and in really good condition. She looked a picture stacked up. Lovely head foreface and expression, well bodied with good front and rear angulation. She moved beautifully holding her topline very well. 2) Jones' Janter Manannan Mac Lir At Hunnicote, very well balanced dog and well constructed with plenty of substance.
