Critique - Judge - Mrs Pat Stockton (Kespas)

Puppy (4, 1 abs)

1st Stubbs’ Riverbrue Zeus.Well grown 11 month dog puppy with a very happy disposition. Pleasant head with good finish to backskull , correct eye and nice expression. Correctly built throughout with good angles in both fore and rear quarters, deep through the chest and with lovely line through the neck and withers for a baby. Moved truly with real enthusiasm and enjoyment. Scored over the nice boy  in second on finish to the croup. BP

2nd Lewis’s Deaconara Danse De bleu avec Dotcomsetter

3rd Condron’s Covarney Beau geste

Junior (3, 2 abs)

1st Hall’s Shenanagin  Stardrift at Glennara. Thought her quite lovely – just one day out of puppy which put her at a disadvantage in the next class against the much more mature exhibits. Extremely pretty head and expression, clean through the neck and shoulders, correct topline and tailset, well boned legs ending in lovely neat feet. Balanced and stylish on the move. Should have a bright future ahead .

Novice

1st  King’s Severnvale   High Tide Via Brenrue. Strapping boy of real substance presented in good coat. Very appealing in head and expression,  showing chiselling and lovely raised brows atop expressive dark eyes. Well sprung ribcage, balanced in body, firm  sloping topline, plenty of coat and feathering. Well muscled, moved out with drive and  an active tail action.

2nd Condron’s Danceset Fancy Forgetting Covarney

3rd Shenanagin Stardrift at Glenara.

Graduate (8, 1abs)

The strongest class of the day for quality.

1st Mortimer & Condron’s Covarney Coco JW. A bitch I have previously admired from the ringside and I was not disappointed, refined feminine head, lovely expression, extremely well put together with excellent angulation and lovely forechest. Strong and neat from hock to heel, she moved with drive, holding her topline. Her handler got the best from her to narrowly beat a nice young bitch who was sadly devoid of coat. Beautifully presented. RBOB

2nd Price’s Severnvale High Class Babe JW

3rd Severnvale High Tide via Brenrue

Post Grad (9, 6abs)

1st Hirons’ Loskeran Follow the Dream. Dark, well coated, attractive young dog who is maturing nicely. Just a little broad in skull for my preference but has kind dark eye and a pleasing expression. Liked him for his balance, smooth outline, muscletone and tailset. Scored highly on the move  where he went round the ring with style and drive, tail lashing.

2nd Needs’ Covarney Mocha

3rd McDonagh’s Ronzalda Esmeralda

Open (6,2abs)

1st Condron & Mortimer’s Covarney Masterclass TAF. I don’t remember seeing this boy before, but found him much to my liking. Presented in full coat and great condition with lovely masculine head with good planes and earset, clean throat and lovely through the neck into beautifully angled shoulder and upper arm, well ribbed and strong through the loin. Good forward reach and great drive from well muscled quarters, coupled with such enthusiasm, earned him BOB.

2nd Child’s Brenrue Outlander

3rd McDonagh’s Ronzalda Don Magnifico JW
