Judge - Katrina HallBitches. An excellent entry, I so enjoyed sorting them out, but where oh where have the lovely feminine heads gone?, many otherwise lovely bitches had untypical heads with large round eyes giving hard expressions and lacking the fine chiselling I so love, also movement in many was far too close behind , some were actually crossing over as they moved, I was concerned to find a couple of undershot bites and a few cases of Entropion, please don't let your dog suffer from this uncomfortable condition, the prize cards are not worth it. On the plus side, upper arm angulation has improved since I last judged and there were fewer ultra narrow fronts to be seen. MPB (12-1) 1st. Risdon's REDDINS LOURDS OF REDSLEEVES beautifully balanced baby with a pretty head and soft expression, excellent angulation fore and aft, nice topline and tailset, and good wide hindquarters, moved very well indeed , looked a mite immature in her next class. PB (21-5 )1st ) Hunter and Brown's BRAIDMOUNT MIDNIGHT LADY just my type of puppy, lovely head with a gentle expression, well balanced all through, super front assembly, good topline, wide hindquarters, good bend of stifle, short rear pasterns enabling her to move soundly around the ring. BPIS. V ( 11-2 )1st,Kavanagh's SH CH WITHERSDALE IVY lovely old fashioned type of bitch, pretty head with expressive eyes, good front and forechest, well angulated behind, would just like a tad more neck to give a little more elegance, moved well with decent width between her hocks. J (18-3 )1st King's KIRKAVAGH IVANJICA really fell for this ultra feminine bitch, the prettiest of heads, sweet expression, excels in forehand construction, flowing topline leading to correct tailset and carriage, good sweep of stifle and short rear pasterns, perfect front movement, but to be ultra critical I would like a tad more drive behind, however, her other qualities far outweigh this. RCC and JW today, Y (23-3 )1st Ciechonska's COPPERS CHAMPAGNE BUBBLE AT AOIBHEANNE JW and 2nd Butler-Holley's SHANDWICK INSPIRATION had a struggle with these two, I loved them both, they are quite different in type despite having the same sire, both have exquisite heads, perfect front assemblies and correct toplines and tailsets, they moved well with decent width between their hocks and have lovely neat feet, just preferred the more quizzical expression of 1st who was close up for RCC, M ( 26 )1st BALINTYNE LUCK BE A LADY 2nd ANLORY CARMENERE 3rd SALWARP SOCIALITE AT CHUGERRA N (24-9 )1st KIRKAVAGH IVANJICA 2nd BALINTYNE LUCK BE A LADY 3rd SALWARP SOCIALITE AT CHUGERRA UG (21-8 )1st KIRKAVAGH IVANJICA G (17-3 )1st Henderson's SAMETSUZ A TASTE OF HONEY an elegant well constructed girl , sweet head with lovely expression , excellent shoulders and forechest, flowing topline to correct tailset, in lovely coat and condition, moved well. PG ( 25-10 )Best class of the day, any of the first 7 could change places on another occasion under me, but decisions had to be made and today it was. 1st Willis' JACWILINS MISS DASHWOOD haven't seen her for a while, beautiful head and expression, good straight front, excellent forechest, deep through the ribs, strong wide hindquarters enabling her to power round the ring. MID L ( 13-4 )1st Mugford's LYNWOOD FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS another with a very pretty head, although her eyes could be a tad darker, it doesn't spoil her sweet expression, not a big one but well balanced all through, correct forechest and return of upper arm, gently sloping topline, correct tailset and carriage, neat feet, scored in her sound flowing movement. L ( 18-5)1st Heron's CASKEYS HAPPY HOUR JW have liked this one since I first saw her as a raw puppy, today she presented the mature finished picture, the sweetest of heads with the desired chiselling around her dark eyes, absolutely perfect balance in body, correct angulation fore and aft, gently sloping topline, wide hindquarters, correct tailset and carriage, nice and short from hock to heel, all topped off with a rich shiny coat, moved very well to take not only the CC her third, but BIS as well !!, O ( 4 )1st Hunter and Brown's SH CH BRAIDMOUNT GEISHA GIRL, well known bitch, a pleasure to go over her ,very pretty head, correct dark eye and sweet expression, well balanced all through, correct slightly sloping topline, good angulation fore and aft, moved soundly with correct width between her hocks, another close up for RCC. SPEC. BEG. ( 5-3 )1st Corrigan's GWENDARIFF POP PRINCESS pretty little bitch, well made all through, nothing to fault except there's not enough of her, well shown and handled , moved well.
